The story of Jacqueline Ades first came to light after the woman was apprehended for harassing the man she went on a date with once.

As the investigators later discovered, she not only harassed her crush but also broke into his home and took a bath in his bathroom.

Now, the obsessive woman has spoken out and claimed she has no idea why she’s been locked up. She also admitted she can’t wait for her trial to begin, as she is convinced that “They’re going to say, ‘You’re not guilty and on top of it we, like, demand that you two get married.’”

In an interview with the Arizona Republic, Ades expressed her disgust over the fact that she has been jailed ever since she was charged in May 2018.

According to the reports, the woman had been sending intensive messages to her crush for 10 months. “I’d make sushi outta ur kidneys n chopsticks outta ur hand bones,” one of her texts read. “Oh what would I do w ur blood! Id wanna bathe in,” another one suggested. One text read: “Don’t ever try to leave me… I’ll kill you.”

The messages, however, aren’t the worst thing that happened to the poor man. One day, Ades broke into his home and bathed in his bathroom.

Despite all the evidence, Ades maintains her innocence.

“I just think it’s ridiculous,” she said. “I can’t believe that it turned into this. I can’t believe that I’m actually in jail over some text messages.

“I said, ‘If I had a perverted imagination, what would I think?’

“And then I wrote all these weird things. Just, like, I was literally playing with my imagination and it turned out that that scared him.”

Ades was deemed to be mentally incompetent when she appeared in court in March. She also rejected a plea deal that would place her on 10-year probation and ban her from contacting her victim. She is scheduled to attend another hearing on May 21.
