“I used it as a suntan lotion, it was like factor 15. I think I must have had some sort of reaction.”

When she went out in the sun, her legs started itching and burning after three hours and turned red.

When she tried a cold shower, it made the rashes worse.

She added: “I’m worrying in case it’s going to scar. My main concern is I will need to get tattoos to hide it.”

She criticized Home Bargains for selling such a harmful product. She said though it was cheap, they shouldn’t be selling it as it has made her legs a mess.

The nurse said she has now lost her confidence as people were staring at her at the airport.
