According to the police, the woman rammed into Farmer and Bruce moments after she fled another crash scene at a nearby interchange. As the authorities revealed, Houston was driving at a high speed as she struck the young man and his pet after another hit-and-run.

Meanwhile, Evan Sbat, one of Farmer’s friends, spoke to CBS 46 to condemn the driver’s actions and brand her as inhumane.

“Had she have stopped at the first one when she hit the car he would still be alive today. Having no regard for that and then after hitting him still fleeing the scene beyond that, it’s inhumane and it’s selfish and I don’t understand how someone could just do that,” he said.

Another friend, Jack O’Connor, told the publication that Michael was one of the most selfless people he had ever met.
