“It is really the shock of how my mum passed more than anything else that gets to me. But I think if I can give this dress to a good owner it could help me make steps to move on.”

Kaye told it was her late mother who picked her wedding dress and pulled all the finishing touches together.

She said her mother would have been mad if she had canceled her wedding and that’s why she decided to get married on the same day.

But, she now wants to give away her wedding dress to get some closure and searching for a good owner.

She said: “It was very tough not having her at the wedding but she would have been mad if we cancelled. So I’m giving away the dress for free, I want it to go to a good owner who will really appreciate it.”

Kaye just wants the new owner of her wedding dress to donate to the Irvine and Troon Cancer Care where her mother Katie was Vice-chairman.
