A furious woman has spoken out and asked for help as she revealed her husband spends several hours in the bathroom each day.
According to an anonymous lady who shared her problems on Reddit, her marital life has been left struggling because of her husband’s long trips to the bathroom.
As the woman claimed, her partner sits on the toilet bowl for up to one hour at a time several times per day. Sometimes, he allegedly spends as much as four hours a day in the bathroom, leaving his wife concerned.
While she got used to him acting this way at home, the husband took matters a step further when he decided to lock himself in the bathroom for almost one hour when he and his wife were together at a restaurant for a dinner.
After waiting for her husband at the restaurant table for nearly one hour, the wife decided to split the bill, pay for her half, and depart on her own.
“Before he went, I gently reminded him that we were at a restaurant therefore he shouldn’t take too long inside the restroom. He made a face and told me to knock it off because he’d be back in a minute,” the woman wrote.
After waiting for her husband for twenty minutes, the woman decided to call him only for the man to hang up on her.
“I called his phone one last time after I was finished but he hung up on me. I was very upset I just asked the waitress to split the bill, paid, left a tip and walked out,” she added.
“He pitched a fit and gave a lecture about how selfish I was to abandon him there even though I called and he hung up but he said his battery died.
“He said he thought our meal was going to take time so he went to use the restroom and I should’ve waited for him a little longer after I notified him about the meal but I was too selfish.”
After asking fellow Redditors for advice, people quickly suggested that the husband is in the wrong for locking himself in the bathroom for long hours.
“What the **** is he doing? 1 – Addicted to video games on his phone, 2 – Addicted to **** on his phone, 3 – Has serious troubles going to the bathroom and is very messy, 4 – Something else?” someone wrote.
“Ask him to leave his phone. This should be a simple request. If he leaves it and it still takes as long, it is probably something physically wrong he doesn’t want to talk about and needs to go to the doctor,” another suggested.
