A video showing a woman running herself over with her car as she forgot to engage the parking brake is doing the rounds on the internet.
But please don’t mark this cruel yet, the lady is totally safe.
The incident happened after the woman stopped her car outside a house in Tenterden, a Kentish town England.
It was September 23, and she had come to the place to check out some eggs left outside the house. The eggs were not a part of some troll, they were strategically placed there to attract customers for them.
As the woman stopped the car to check the eggs out, the moments of their existence got numbered.
The car started moving as the woman forgot to engage the handbrake and eventually ran over her as well as the table of eggs.
In the aftermath of the unlucky incident, the woman was left literally with an egg on her face.
If you are feeling concerned about the well-being of the lady, the car eventually stopped and rolled backward, which means the woman didn’t get any physical injuries.
She might be emotionally broken a bit though.
The way she got on her feet after the car hit her clearly showed she was unharmed. Luckily for her, no one saw the incident and she just moved on.
But there was a CCTV camera to document the whole event. The camera installed at Chris Puxted’s house recorded the accident.
Speaking of the incident, Chris told LADBible: “It just goes to show, you should never forget to put your handbrake on. It just sneaked up on her so she had no chance.
“Fortunately, it doesn’t look like there was any lasting damage.”
Moral of the story, do pay attention to driving guidelines, including all the small details, or you can be the next person being run over by your own car.
As a matter of fact, you might not turn out to be as lucky as this lady.
