We have heard of all kinds of parties.
Birthday parties, Christmas parties, Wedding celebrations, gender reveal party and what not.
But the kind of party this woman had thrown is something you would probably have never heard of before. But just like they say throw a party if you are happy, no matter what the reason is.
Catherine Navarro a 34 years old woman from New Jersey threw herself the best party she could think of. Yes, this party was to celebrate her divorce that she had been trying to get for years now.
She was 20 years old when she decided to get married to Marc. They were in a wedding reception, drunk, a week before their wedding and that is when they decided they wish to get married.
Yes, within a week they decided to get married and said those words that tied them in a relationship of love. But they were not fortunate enough. The love faded away and the relationship became torture for Catherine.
In 2012, the woman finally gathered all her courage and filed a divorce appeal to the court but her husband, Marc was not ready to let her go and did not agree for the divorce. In some time, the man ran away and the divorce became even more difficult.
She had to prove to the court that she has been trying to find her husband who is gone. After struggling for 7 long years, the court finally accepted her divorce request and granted her the same.
Catherine is the happiest now because she is single again and does not have to live with the name of the man she hates.
Now to make her realize that the day was the happiest day of her life when she got her divorce, she threw the fanciest party for herself. All her friends who were there at her wedding were at the divorce party too. And it looked like they were having some real fun.
