It is heartbreaking to know how many animals are abandoned by their owners every day.
The cruel owners don’t even bother to take the innocent souls to the animal shelters. Most of them usually leave their animals in far-off places from where they can’t return back to them.
Fortunately, one good Samaritan intervened in a similar situation in San Antonio, Texas, and managed to rescue the animals abandoned by their owner.
The kind Samaritan happened to see a woman in a vacated lot who was trying to throw four dogs out of her car. Just after seeing it, the Samaritan decided to confront the offender and started recording the incident.
The Samaritan also tried to stop her by stating the consequences which the cruel woman might face later for ditching her pets.
The good Samaritan desperately tried to reason with the offender and also gave her the directions to the local animal care services, still, the woman dumped the dogs and drove away in an infuriating manner.
After the local authorities were reported on the incident, they managed to find three of the dogs who were later delivered to a nearby animal shelter.
Unfortunately, the fourth dog was nowhere to be found.
However, we don’t know why, the ex-owner of the dogs had a change of heart and she helped in locating the fourth dog.
After delivering him to the animal care services, the woman turned herself in.
According to Texas law, a person found guilty of abandoning a pet may get a fine of up to $4,000 and be sentenced to up to a year in county jail.
The images of the dogs were issued by animal services together with a statement.
