A woman with Down’s Syndrome has lost the case that was filed to prevent abortions relating to babies with disabilities.
Adding how this day is a very sad moment for her, the young woman broke down into tears and vowed to continue fighting for her rights and so many others.
26-year-old Heidi Crowter who hails from Coventry added how she was a part of the few who brought forward legal action that went against the Department of Health and Social Care, hoping that removal of a section of the brutal law pertaining to the Abortion Act would help prevent the feeling of inequality that many people are feeling against the law.

However, it also went on to mention how terminations like these could potentially be allowed until birth, such as if there is a major risk that the child would be born with some major disability, either physical or mental.point 184 | 1
This includes being handicapped or suffering from Down’s Syndrome too, added another source.
Heidi explained how she took part in a two-day hearing last July, and that’s when a number of lawyers that represented citizens like her fought their side of the case, stating how this law was unconstitutional and had all the fingerprints of being unlawful and very discriminatory too.
But the new ruling that took place on Thursday added how this case was soon to be dismissed by at least two different judges on a senior level. They went on concluding how the legislation was passed for a certain reason and actually tries its best at striking a balance between the rights of an unborn child and of women too.
