We wait and wait for the reply wondering if we wrote it fine and are not sounding too desperate.

Well, it is a great deal to text someone who you have a crush on and the time you spend waiting for a reply is dreadful. 

When Sally excitedly texted her crush while the two were in a conversation she did not get her reply at that time.

You won’t believe but she got a reply after 8 years and 7 months. 

How unexpected does it sound and yes it is equally bizarre.

Sally said that the two first got into a conversation on July 17 of the year 2011 for the first time. 

The first messages that were exchanged between the two were sent by the anonymous guy first.

The guy texted “Hey beautiful, how are you doing?” 

Sally wanted to play it cool just like any other girl who is getting enough attention.

She did the same and finally gave a reply on July 20th.

 

She wrote, “Hi, I am great, what have you been up to?” To add a little fun to the text, she also added a smiley.

That was the last time they had exchanged any message and then had forgotten everything about it. 

Surprisingly, Sally finally received a reply to her text after 8 years and 7 months.

Thankfully she did not waste the entire time waiting for him. 

The guy said that he did not receive the message until the same day when he updated his messenger on the phone and when he received the text he replied instantly.

Sally took a screenshot of the conversation and shared it on social media to let people know how she has lived the nightmare of the dating world finally after hearing hundreds of stories.
