There are people around us who help other people, and sometimes those good deeds are mistaken and fall wrongly on them.
Recently, an Australian man was accused of assaulting a woman whom he helped by repairing her car. Caitlyn Gray, a 19-year-old woman, falsely accused Kenan Basic, 36 years old of sexual misconduct with her.
The false accuse made the guy spend weeks in jail, and he also lost his relationship because of the false allegation on him. When Caitlyn’s car broke down last year, this man stopped to help her, and according to the CCTV footage, it seemed all normal as the pair smiled and thanked one another.
Then suddenly, she claims that Kenan asked for sex in return of helping her fix the car. Due to this accusation, Kenan was portrayed as the wrong one in the whole incident, and he spent his nights in jail.
After a few months, the truth came out about how Kenan never really harassed the woman.
Caitlyn confessed about how Kenan is innocent in the whole, and she just created all the evidence that were found.
Thankfully, all the charges have been dismissed against Kenan, but now Caitlyn is facing a lot of legal issues for fabricating false evidence and lying to the police.
Kenan’s lawyer, Mona Elbaba claims that Kenan and his whole family are thrilled to know the truth. Mona declares that her client was maintaining his innocence throughout the case and he tried his best to deny all the allegations against him, but nobody listened to him.
Even though there were CCTV videos that contradicted the female’s story, but the police didn’t get it. Thankfully after a long haul, the justice has been served to my client, and we are delighted with the result.
After going out of the courtroom, Basic told the reports that he is so happy that all this is over because he has never been in jail and doesn’t have any criminal records.
He also said that he believes in helping people around him, but this time a snake bit him. He also thinks he won’t be able to help others now because he doesn’t want the same thing happening to him again.
