Woman Charged After Calling 911 Multiple Times To Complain About Her Parents


A 36-year-old woman, from Canton in Ohio, has been charged after she called 911 repeatedly to complain about her parents who stopped paying for her phone.

Seloni Khetarpal called the Regional Emergency Dispatch Center multiple times to report her parents who had cut off her cell phone plan.

She was told not to call again as it was not an emergency issue and was urged to call only for legitimate reasons.

Despite being warned, the woman didn’t listen to them and called them repeatedly and said it was a legitimate reason to call 911.

She was arrested on Thursday by Massillon police for disrupting public services and is now facing a fourth-degree felony charge.

 

The woman started calling 911 on Thursday, February 13.

She wanted to report her parents who stopped paying for her mobile phone plan.

Despite being told that it was not an emergency issue, the woman continued calling them.

According to her website, Selonis is a makeup artist, originally from the UK but now lives in Canton, Ohio.

She was a model for Abercrombie and Fitch and Miller Lite.

She obtained her Esthetics and Salon Managers degrees and certification in microdermabrasion from The Brown Aveda Institute in Rocky River.

 

Seloni has also worked as a head makeup artist and skincare consultant at Sephora and recently earned her License in Advanced Esthetics from the state of Ohio board of cosmetology.

She gives group and individual makeup classes and has her licensure as a masseuse.

 

Seloni has now been arrested and charged for disrupting public services after calling 911 multiple times despite being warned.

However, it is still not known why her parents stopped paying for her mobile phone.

On Friday, she appeared in court and her bond was set at $2,500. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled to be on February 27.
