A young woman has come under fire after bragging about having an abortion for the second time in her video on TikTok.
The disturbing video titled “Abortion time, take 2” has made rounds on the internet and showed a California woman with a baby bump standing in front of a mirror while another woman was holding a positive pregnancy test.
As the video’s caption suggested, this was the woman’s second time to get an abortion. As she’s wiping off her tears in an attempt to show she had been saddened by the news she was pregnant, Bruno Mars’ song ‘It Will Rain’ was playing in the background.
After a while, the scene switched to the woman poking her baby bump before showing the outsides of a Planned Parenthood clinic.
Once inside the Pasadena facility, the caption changed to ‘There’s two abortion moods’ whereas the video showed a sad couple sitting in the corner before turning to the woman who was doing the shoot dance.
In the last part of the video, the woman was seen smiling while lying on the bed at the clinic. It isn’t clear whether she went through with abortion or not.
After the “insensitive” video went viral, it was reshared on Twitter by the president of a pro-life group called Live Action.
“Twitter just locked my account until I removed the TikTok video of the girl joking & filming her abortion at @PPFA,” Lila Rose wrote.
“After your RTs & outcry, TikTok removed the girl’s account. Let’s pray for her & work to end the ‘pro-choice’ brainwashing that dehumanizes & kills helpless babies.”
While the majority of people slammed the woman who created and shared the video for being insensitive, some have urged the people to respect her right to freedom.
“Whilst the video is distasteful to say the least, the rights of the mother must always come before the rights of the fetus,” one pro-choice advocate wrote.
“Pro-Choice is not brainwashing. It’s giving someone their basic human right- freedom. Freedom to make their own choices about their own life.”
