A woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend with scissors after ‘he called her fat’ and prevented her from buying some ice cream.
According to Chinese media, the guy said she was already overweight and shouldn’t eat ice cream anymore.
The horrifying incident took place in the city of Zhumadian in central China’s Henan Province.
The attacker, known by her surname Wang, has been arrested by police. She was having a fight against her boyfriend, Zhang, when she started stabbing him with a pair of scissors.
Police said in a statement that the two had been shopping. Zhang passed away in hospital after medics failed to save him.
According to JSTV, the two had been in a relationship for only 20 days. A source said to the TV sation that the fight started when Zhang stopped Wang from buying ice cream.
Furious by her boyfriend’s words, Wang bought scissors from a nearby store and stabbed her boyfriend, said the source.
