A woman was urged by others to move out of her house after she spotted a creepy creature hanging from a tap in her bathroom.
Lucy shared a video of the moment she discovered black wires hanging from the tap but it was actually the legs of a spider that was firmly stuck inside, ready to jump once the faucet was turned on.
Her clip quickly went viral on social media, gaining over 890,000 views.
“So I saw these things sticking out the bath tap,” Lucy wrote in the caption. She then zoomed in to show the legs of the creepy creature.
She then turned the water on and it dislodged her guest, causing a flood of comments from people who are terrified of spiders.
One person joked: “That thing was about to take my life out.”
Someone wrote: “Pack your bag and burn the house.”
Another person shared a story about the moment he found a huge spider in his bathroom.
“Years ago when I lived in an older property in Essex, I had a pretty big spider that I used to see coming out from a gap in the corner of the tiles around the bath, even when I was actually in the bath. I called it “Boris” after the song by the Who – Boris The Spider – but somebody pointed out that females are usually larger, so it became “Doris”.
“Now Doris was around for a good few weeks and I started feeding her with dead moths and flies, and it ended up that every time I got into the bath she would show up for a treat.point 249 |
