A woman was left startled after ordering a Balenciaga bag online and was later shocked to discover its true size.
Khloe Kalvina shared a clip on her TikTok account @khloekalvina saying she spend £675 ($900) on a designer bag where her phone couldn’t even fit.
She humorously captioned the viral clip with: “So when they say mini they really mean mini.”
She claims she spent $900 on the bag, after seeing it online and placing an order. She purchased hers from the Spanish designer, Balenciaga.
Though she explained in her TikTok that she was definitely expecting something more considerable and significantly bigger.
Khloe adds that she initially wanted to buy the bag so she could use it to carry her phone and cash in. But when she looks at her new purchase, she quickly realizes that the bag wouldn’t be able to carry the things she needed.
With the on-screen text captions, she wrote: “Not me paying £675 ($900) for a Balenciaga “mini” bag and thinking it would just be a bag for my phone and phone to go in.”
And followed it up by saying: “Little did I know it only just fits my ID in and it’s smaller than my phone.”
She reveals her new bag and then pans the camera back to her face while holding the Balenciaga bag in her hand next to her head to provide a size reference as it is smaller than her head.
Khloe also used her hand as a size reference so viewers could just how tiny her new handbag really is.
Since posting her designer fiasco, Khloe’s video has gained over 585,000 views and nearly 40,000 likes, along with tons of comments from other TikTok users sharing their thoughts about the disaster.
Some viewers express sympathy, with one person saying: “Noo, the mini looks so much bigger online,” to which Khloe agreed and added that she was “heartbroken”.
“Haha I got this exact one and I was shook,” a second person said and Khloe responded saying that it was a ridiculous price considering how small it is.
Although everybody agreed that the bag was indeed cute, there were several commenters who couldn’t quite believe the fact that Khloe spent $900 on such a tiny handbag.
One person wrote: “I just can’t get over that’s $900, that’s the same as my rent.”
A second person said: “No way you’ve paid that much for a bag like this.”
A third commenter added: “It’s so cute but definitely not worth the price.”
A fourth said: “Your own fault for paying that kind of money for a bag tbh.”
Someone else replied: “You should have checked the measurements before buying it.”
Another added: “I really learnt this the hard way, you cannot shop luxury online. We really have to go to stores.”
Khloe later told her followers that she sent the bag back shortly after posting the video.
