A woman was arrested after stripping in the middle of an airport before casually walking through baggage claim and sitting naked on top of a police car.
The bizarre incident occurred at Miami International Airport where the unnamed culprit removed all of her clothes piece by piece just moments before midnight.
According to the reports, the woman was singing loudly as she ditched her clothes, including underwear, and casually walked to the baggage claim area.
While the woman was removing her clothes, stunned passengers gazed at her in shock whereas no one appeared to be brave enough to approach her.
Later on, the same ‘catwalk model’ was seen sitting naked on top of a police cruiser that was parked just outside the airport.
After running towards a police officer she spotted, the woman was finally arrested.
“I would never expect to see something like that. That would probably make me bust down and I would want to help. That’s the only thing that did confuse me, was no one tried to help, or cover her up; women especially,” one of the witnesses, Tay Credit, said in an interview with CBSMiami.
“It’s a shock. In fact, you wouldn’t believe what you’re looking at. It looks as if it isn’t real,” another passenger, Pru Ingelfield, added.
According to the police, the woman was arrested and taken for a mental evaluation following the incident. As they explained, she appeared delusional and incoherent at the time of the arrest.
“On Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at approximately 11:40 pm, Miami-Dade Police Department, Airport District officers, were dispatched to a call of a naked female running through the Miami International Airport (MIA) baggage claim area,” Miami-Dade Police stated.
“The naked female was located at the MIA Central Plaza parking garage exit, behaving erratically. After conducting his investigation, the responding officer took her into custody and transported her to a nearby receiving facility for an involuntary examination, under the Florida Baker Act statute.”
