A feminist has been arrested and charged with larceny after she stole a pro-life sign at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.
The feminist grabbed an orange pro-life sign from Austin Beigel’s hands, who is a member of the pro-life group Created Equal.
She started walking away with the sign. Little did she know, she was walking towards a police officer.
“Why’d you rip it out of his hands?” the officer asked.
“Because this restricts women’s rights,” the woman replied.
The officer said: “This is a public display. They have a right to be here. If you don’t like their speech, you can go away. You don’t have to watch it.”
“They’re here because they want us to watch them,” the woman said.
“OK, but you can ignore them. If you ignore them, that takes away their power. It’s just that simple” the officer said.
She replied: “It doesn’t matter how much you ignore them. They’re gonna come back, and they’re gonna come back again. And this is why women have such a problem getting abortions in North Carolina. And y’all just let them get away with this sh**.”
She was then arrested by the officer.
The woman was left shocked when the officer arrested her. She said: “All I did was walk it over here. I was going to give it back to him. I cannot believe this is happening. … Is there something else I can do?”
Created Equal President Mark Harrington told The Daily Wire: “Students being groomed on college campuses to be leaders, writers, and thinkers of the Left are increasing in censorship and violence against those with whom they disagree.”
“Their surprise when held accountable indicates college campuses have become safe spaces for pro-abortion violence. Students at UNC and campuses like it are in dire need of remedial First Amendment training,”
