A woman who reportedly hails from the state of Texas was recently arrested after she hurled a giant bowl of soup into a worker’s space, confirmed reports.
The irate woman could be seen in the now-viral video footage throwing the boiling spicy flavored soup right into the face of a worker who appears to be the restaurant’s manager.
But that came at a very expensive price as now the Texan citizen is in real hot water after being busted by authorities.
The accused has been identified as 31-year-old Amanda Martinez who was arrested during the early morning hours of Wednesday and that’s when she has received charges pertaining to assault.
The incident is known to have taken place at a Mexican restaurant that goes by the name of Sol De Jalisco, as mentioned in the KWTX-TV report.
The deputy police chief for the Temple district added how they have zero tolerance for behavior like this, claiming how they certainly do not condone these actions. “We hold our citizens to the highest standard,” he revealed.
“If any citizen believes that they have received some sort of poor service, we certainly advise them to behave in a civil manner until the problem is resolved.”
Authorities claim that the accused picked up one of her orders from the famous Mexican eateries. However, she was stewing when she got back to the eatery to claim about how her soup was just too hot in temperature. Moreover, she even spoke about how it caused the plastic cover of her container to go about melting over too.
On that note, the restaurant’s manager named Jannelle Broland immediately got back to her and apologized for the incident. In addition to that, she even offered her a refund but that wasn’t good enough for the irate woman who hurled the soup at her.
