A winemaking couple is welcoming their child in their own little world.
The couple has created a miniature cellar door for their unborn child.
During the isolation, the couple started to build a cubby in the vineyard with a fridge, groceries, and espresso machine.
Elise Cook, 29, and her husband, Domenic, 30, made an announcement on April 8th that they are expecting their first child. The couple had been traveling to Australia in a Kombi van to build their winery.
The couple posted the picture of their peach painted cubby house for the child on Instagram. They also posted the videos of timber cutting and assembling the roof and walls.
Elise wrote in the post, “Bambino, we have built you a mini cellar door, and we are going to have fun in this life with you.”
Elise added, for the time being, it is keeping her entertained, and it will do the same for her baby. The cubby house also has a farm gate style entrance and vegetable garden to the lookout.
Inside the house, Elise has added children’s play fridge, sink, and bench for the child to make food. All the elements and playing equipment are made with lacquered wood so that there is no risk of injuries.
Elise and Domenic have put their quarantine time into good use while a number of small businesses are under pressure. With the coronavirus outbreak, the couple is only able to sell their wine online.
Not only building their kid’s cellar, but they have also renovated their house, which is part of their winery. The couple that is known for their Kombi van scout all across Australia is currently excited about their baby, which is due in five months.
The couple is hoping to get back on their business and waiting to open their doors to the public after things get back to normal.
