Prince William & Kate Did NOT Speak With Harry After Philip’s Funeral Because They Feared Info Will Be Leaked Out To The Media

Prince William and Kate Middleton did not speak with Prince Harry after their grandfather’s funeral because they are afraid that details would be leaked, a royal historian has said.

In April early this year, the three were seen walking and having a brief chat together as they left Prince Philip’s funeral service at Windsor Castle.

At the time, it was believed that the brothers spoke to each other and to their father, Prince Charles for about two hours afterward.

People hoped that the brief conversation was the start of reconciliation in the family after Prince Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

However, leading royal historian Robert Lacey claimed that the conversation did not happen as William and Kate were worried that everything that they talk about will be leaked to the media.

“They told friends that they could see no point in talking to Harry since any discussion of substance would go straight back to Meghan to be leaked via Oprah or some other tentacle of the Sussex network,” Lacey wrote in his book titled ‘Battle of the Brothers.’

Instead, Prince Charles is believed to have gone back to his home in Wales while the Cambridges went home to Kensington Palace to put their children to bed.

William and Kate’s alleged fears came after Meghan’s friend Gayle King, 66, revealed on CBS that while Harry spoke with William and Prince Charles after his bombshell interview, the sit-down conversation was ‘not productive’.

“Well, I did actually call them to see how they are feeling, it’s true, Harry has talked to his brother and his father, too,” King said. “The word I was given was, those conversations were not productive. But they are glad they at least started a conversation.”

King also revealed on CBS that was told by the Sussexes that they had been keen for the ‘royals to intervene and tell the Press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate, false stories that definitely have a racial slant’.

However, King —who is also friends with Oprah— failed to give any examples of the stories she was referring to, but she asserted that Meghan has ‘documents to back up everything that she said on Oprah’s interview’.

Lacey also wrote in his book that it was intended that neither Princess Anne nor the Countess of Wessex —Prince Edward’s wife— spoke with Harry in public on the day of Philips’ funeral.

“People felt incensed by what they saw as the calculated and focused cruelty of the TV interview and by the hypocrisy of Meghan relating so brightly to Oprah how she had phoned the Queen to show her concern about Philip’s condition without even considering, apparently, the impact that their televised catalog of grievance might have upon the invalid’s morale and health,” Lacey wrote.
