Wife Fails To Save Husband From His Death After 60,000 BEES Attack Him, Wife Becomes Hospitalized After Incident


A man in Texas was mowing his lawn on Monday and met his tragic fate by running into aggressive bees that stung the man to his death.

From all the stings, his body was thrown into cardiac arrest and his wife was also stung in the process of trying to save her husband.

She was taken away from the house using firefighting gear and relocated to a hospital. The incident took place in Stephens County, Texas, where the  Breckenridge Fire Department arrived to the scene.

Before the incident had taken place, Zoni warns her husband to not go in the back area since the bees are back, indicating that this is not their first time encountering the bees. He promises her that he wouldn’t.

She was out grocery shopping, but when she came back, her husband had been jumping and screaming, covered in bees as he’s getting stung. His back was not seen and was covered by bees, calling 911 while performing CPR in efforts to save her husband.

Firefighters arrived to the scene, taking note of the aggressive bee activity. The man who had been stung had gone into cardiac arrest, going through to reach Zoni and giving their gear in order for her to go into the house. This helped protect her from any further interactions with the bees.

After the scene was clear, officials worked hard to go to neighbors and inform them of the bee situation. They told them to not use noisy equipment since it would irritate the bees, in which they were in the process of removing.

A local beekeeper helped to share their skills, alleviating the situation. They discovered a beehive in a tree that had 60,000 bees, and it had been accumulating over three years.

They also discovered that there were about 4 or 5 queen cells in there, a dangerous sight especially for those who are allergic to bee stings.

According to sources, honeybee stings can be life-threatening, and this is an example of a tragedy. Luckily, the beekeeper was able to locate the hive in its core, gaining help from firefighters to remove them from the scene.
