May it be a love letter, an unexpected dinner, or a bundle of fresh flowers, these things can cheer up the partners and give them a sense of content.

For Debbie Cardone receiving a flower bouquet at her home filled her with joy. As her husband is working abroad, she was naturally that more happy to receive a gift from him. Despite often receiving flowers from her husband, Debbie appreciated the multi-colored set of roses. After she looked at the greeting card, however, she saw that someone else’s name was written on it.

While any wife would be surprised that the roses from her husband weren’t for her, Debbie immediately recognized the name and understood who they were for. “Sebastian, Feel better you’ll be back in the game very soon. Love Daddy,” the card said.

Sebastian is the name of their family’s precious bulldog who had recently undergone a knees surgery. He is now in a recovery phase and what better way to support that than by sending him a bouquet of good-smelling roses.

As the recuperation was pretty tough in the beginning, Debbie’s husband felt terrible not being able to be there for him. Nevertheless, flowers solved the problem as Sebastian seemed to enjoy sniffing them.

Debbie and her daughter Lily were amused by the flower mix-up and amazed by Sebastian’s reaction, so they decided to document and share the whole thing on Facebook and Twitter. The posts soon went viral, and everyone was humored by Debbie’s disappointment and Sebastian’s adorable approach.

As if those flowers weren’t enough, several days later Sebastian received 6 more bouquets of which two were dog-shaped. “I guess they appreciated our viral post and how my husband uses 1-800-flowers all the time! I guess the celebration continues! Thank you 1-800-flowers! Sebastian loves them and the doggy flowers are SO cute,” Debbie wrote on Facebook.

It seems that Sebastian is one lucky dog and a huge fan of flowers! Hopefully, he will recover soon and start collecting roses on his own.
