According to The Sun, Catherine, 49, is already preparing to end their 10-year marriage after the actor, 51, admitted to ‘having feelings’ for the 31-year-old actress.

This comes only weeks after the couple told reporters that their “marriage is strong and we’re very much still together.”

A source told the news outlet that landscape designer Catherine has told her friends that her husband made a confession only weeks after the actor was spotted kissing Lily in Italy.

“Catherine has told those closest to her that Dominic has admitted having feelings for Lily,” a family friend said.

“At first it seemed as though the whole thing was just a one-off but Catherine has since said it’s become obvious it was more than that.”

“Catherine feels crushed by it, naturally. It’s a huge thing to be coming to terms with,” the friend went on.

“She has since told the people closest to her their marriage is as good as over now and she doesn’t think there is a way past this.”

The friend continued: “Catherine is lying low but she is still talking with Dominic about where they go now.

“It has been a humiliating period for her and she wants Dominic to clean up the mess that’s been created.”

One person commented: “They are not the first family to have been broken up because of her, but it’s hardly Lily’s fault she is so gorgeous and men are willing to destroy their entire family for her. Shows a lot of men are weak.”

Another wrote: “As a wise man once told me, why wreck so many lives for 10 minutes of fun…”

A third added: “I lost my respect to all who would pursue a relationship with a still married individual, as a woman i find it very disrespectful to another woman kissing her husband the father of their kids in public, its worse if you are famous because it will be published.”
