California witnessed a massive earthquake this past Thursday creating tremors all around the city.
Measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, the earthquake hit southern California where plenty of residents were alerted of the same after the water in their swimming pools started shaking.

People immediately took to Twitter to express their concern regarding the same posting multiple videos and images of their houses and swimming pools in particular.
The locals were quite scared after noticing their swimming pools had been making waves which could match the ferocity of ocean waves. Many videos were posted online where it is seen that the water in the pools were spilling and overflowing their houses.
Pools were seen spitting water several feet into the air, shooting and creating waves left and right. Reports of cracks appearing on houses and buildings have also been received with the local police doing everything they can to handle the situation.
People’s complaints regarding their swimming pools came in plenty after the earthquake hit the southern part of the city. Online reports claim there were incidents where the water from the pools looked like waves reaching a shore.
Other incidents included swimming pools looking like a hot tub as the water in it swirled around due to the vibrations.
Many people also took these reports lightheartedly with some saying it was quite comedic to see people complaining about their swimming pools at the time of an earthquake.
Despite the natural disaster shaking the entire stretch of southern California, many social media users felt that these videos were perhaps the highlight of the entire incident.
Currently there have been no reports of any fatalities with a few people reported to be injured during the event. The injured were taken to the emergency rooms in the nearby hospitals and treated.
