He said “I was in the cabin working when my radio buzzed. It was a two-way radio and the man on the other side said code brown, start running.
I have been working there for a while but I do not remember all the codes. I turned my badge to see what the code was and there it was. There is shooting out there right.”
He wisely opened the gate of what he had called the emergency exit and asked people to get in. He then asked them to enter into the shipping containers.
He estimated the people to be around 100 that included the customers as well as the staff. He shut them in and then went back to look out for more people. He then walked out on the boundary of the building and reached parking of the building.
There he saw a man who yelled: “There is a gunman with an AK-47 in the mart.”
He said “This was the time when I realized what was happening. It was a mass shooting.”
“I was scared. I was too scared and everyone else was scared. All we wanted was to get out of the place but I had to wait to save the rest.”
