Parents Shared A Heartwarming Video Of Their Son Going Home After 406 Days Of Treatment And The Hospital Staff Bidding Him Adieu

5-year-old Slater has diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma when he was just 4 years old.

For his treatment, his family left their home in Florida and moved to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis in 2018.

Slater underwent surgery and chemotherapy. He also underwent bone marrow and stem cell transplants and was treated with radiation and immunotherapy.

Those were the worst days for both Slater and his family. But, his family didn’t give and prayed for a miracle.

Finally, Slater was allowed to go home after 406 days of treatment.

His family shared a heartwarming video of Slater going home after 406 days to their Facebook page named Our Boys Life (@ourboyslife).

The doctor and hospital staff can be seen bidding adieu to Slater with a song and confetti.
