Valuables are eye-catching. They are easily noted from afar, especially, from the neer-do-well. They know how to identify something that is precious to you. And that is when they strike a deal. Using their corrupted minds, they sit down, watch your every move patiently and then strike when you least expect. Unfortunately, that is the world we are living in. Where one person sacrifices almost everything to succeed in life and on the other hand someone is planning on how they can bring you down.
Apparently, that is a similar case that happened to veteran Geoff Hoffman. On this particular day, he decided to walk out of his house into a nearby town but, he did not take his lovely dog with him. Apparently, this was the biggest mistake he did.
On arriving, he noticed something peculiar. His front door was wide open and nothing in the house was stolen. Actually, it was the same way as he left it. But on taking a closer look, he noticed one of the most precious things in his life was missing. Apparently, that was his lovely pooch, Bridget. She was missing! Neither was Bridget resting on her favorite spot nor was she in her pen. Geoff was perturbed, he did not know where to start or end the search. Apparently, Oklahoma City is so big and there is no way her beloved dog could have just walked out to wander alone.
To start with the search he decided to ask his neighbors, whether they had seen Bridget. But, no one had seen her, not even her girlfriends. Therefore, together with his friends, they decided to place placards of a missing dog on all the nearby streets. Additionally, they took it upon themselves to advertise on all social media platforms. The 3-year-old missing pit-bull news was received warmly and even strangers opted to help in the search.
Thankfully, all the hard work paid off.
It was during this intensive search that one of Bridget’s girlfriends sniffed a familiar scent on the streets. Surprisingly, on walking further they found Bridget lying on a lonely stretch. Unfortunately, she was wounded and couldn’t even lift herself up. Seemingly, her body was weak as well from lack of a good diet and dehydration.
Immediately, the ailing pup was quickly airlifted to a nearby Oklahoma City Veterinarian clinic, where she received immediate attention.
To make matters worse, not only did the abductors harm Bridget but they scratched off the phone number on her collar as well. It was a heartbreaking moment but Geoff was glad that he had found her at last.
Finally, they have set up a Go Fund Me Page for anyone willing to contribute something little to cater for the medical expenses accrued during the process.
Now, the excruciating pain is finally over and the pooch is responding well to the medication. At least, she can afford a smile now.
