Vaping Related Death Toll Rises to 11 In the US


Two more people have been reported dead due to a lung problem caused because of vaping with raising the death toll in the USA to 11.

In recent months, more than 500 cases of severe lung problems due to vaping have come out and more than 11 people have been dead.

The health experts have grown worried regarding the health of people as they are yet to find the cause of infection which is coming out of vaping.

On Wednesday, Georgia’s first death report came out related to the lung infection resulting in death. The experts have found out that the man was old and had a very long history of nicotine vaping in a heavy amount but he did not do THC.

On the same day, another death was reported in Florida making it first from Florida in lung-related health issue caused by the usage of vape.

The 9 deaths before Florida and Georgia were reported from Missouri, California, Kansas, Minnesota, Oregon, Illinois, and Indiana.

As of Thursday, The Centers for Disease Control said that they were working on 530 cases to find out the cause of the infection.

The center says that they are yet to find the element that the nicotine-based vapes have that are causing the diseases but they know not all the vapes are causing these. Only nicotine and THC based vapes have caused the sickness till now.

The Georgia patient was reported as a heavy user of nicotine but he certainly did not take in THC, which means he did not do Marijuana.

The health department gave out no information about Florida patient and his condition.

By assessing more than 350 cases, the experts have found out that most of the cases have people falling between 18 to 34 years of age.
