The US State Department was recently slammed after it tried to steal full credit for a miraculous rescue evacuation mission entailing an American mother and her three children.
According to local media outlets, the State Department spoke about how it assisted an American family to the best of its capabilities in terms of getting them back home safely from the war-torn Afghan city of Kabul. But it wasn’t too long before they were immensely criticized for the daring overland mission.
A private rescue organizer was quick to step in and mention how his firm should be given due credit for doing all the hard work because that is the truth.
American mother named Mariam says she and her three children were left behind amid an atmosphere of sheer fear and terror. And that was when Presdient Biden ordered all US military forces to withdraw from Afghanistan.
Despite their efforts, the family was unable to make it back home and with the deadline looming, things didn’t look too good for them either. But thankfully, a small miracle of hope rekindled when an Army Combat veteran officer by the name of Cory Mills spoke up about the family’s misery.
However, that wasn’t all. He decided to coordinate and carry out a mission that would enable the innocent family to get out of Afghanistan and back home into the US safely.
Local media reports spoke about how Mariam alongside her kids was forced to travel via an overland route towards the border of another neighboring country. But thankfully, they were able to reach the US, just in time on Monday. But before this story entered into the limelight, the US State Department could be seen trying its best to steal the limelight and credit for the massive operation.
Moreover, they even went to the extent of boldly taking full accountability for the rescue operation and adding how they assisted in facilitating it too.
But now, Mills isn’t staying quiet. He’s revealing how the US State Department reportedly ignored the innocent family’s pleas for help at the start and now they wish to steal credit for something they didn’t do.
