US House Has Finally Passed a Bill Which Makes Animal Cruelty a Federal Felony


The US House of Representative has passed a bill which makes some particular types of animal cruelty a federal felony.

The PACT Act, which is known as Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture, has allowed the authorities to go after the guilty people without being bound to any state laws anymore.

The Bipartisan act which was introduced to the general public by the Florida congressmen Vern Buchanan and Ted Deutch.

Ted Deutch said that the bill clearly states that the society and people won’t accept any cruelty towards the animals anymore and it needs to stop now.

He further said that because of the bill, a lot of people came forward to support and protect the animals.

So many Americans from the country have shown their interest and support for the protection of animals.

Ted further said that he is delighted and thankful to all the advocates who made it possible to pass the bill, and now all Ted is looking forward to see the president’s signature on the bill.

Vern Buchanan said that there are a lot of people who cause harm to the innocent animals, and now it is the time to stop the cruelty against the animals.

Whosoever harms the animals should be adequately punished by the law so that they get the message. The Pact Act sends a clear message to all the people that animal cruelty is not acceptable by the law, and now it has become a priority to save innocent animals.

The purpose of revising this bill after 2010 is to tell people that if they involve themselves in animal crushing, then they are making a federal crime.
