Jason Balzer, husband of Pitchaporn Kidchob, had argued with his wife about buying a new motorbike.
He had been upset to the point that he stabbed her repeatedly, causing her death. Balzer had fled the area but had been arrested in a city that was 100 miles away, staying with his friends to avoid law enforcement officials.
They had been on the search for her husband after discovering Kidchob’s body that was stuffed in a bin and pushed into a ditch. His murder can carry the maximum penalty of death in the country.
Police found her body stuffed inside of a bin that had been pushed into a ditch, just three miles from where they resided. Stab wounds were revealed around her torso. Balzer allegedly jumped bail back in Colorado and moved to Thailand, being charged with murder.
He is facing charges that will lead into a maximum penalty of death.
Balzer was found residing with his friends after the body was discovered. In police reports, he states that he killed his wife from her nagging dealing with a new motorbike that he purchase.
He quit his job and sold everything in order to settle down in Thailand with his wife, he comments that lately “she showed me no affection, refusing to sleep with me and telling me to return to my country.”
The body of his wife had been found in a forest, trying to get rid of the evidence by taping the bin with tapes, concealing the bin in between the bushes but failed to keep it hidden completely. Police have already notified her mother, Anong Tanya, who was not able to reach her daughter via phone. She had visited their home, discovering bloodstains.
The couple first met in 2017 in Thailand and then married in the United States. They then flew back to Thailand to settle there. Balzer says that he was unaware that his wife was pregnant.
Media reports located in Colorado have shown that Balzer has been in legal trouble before, pleading guilty to a count of third-degree assault.
On top of that, he was sentenced to two years of probation. It was watered down, for the original charge was an attempted murder and six related charges. It had to be toned down because the victim would not testify in court.
He has also stopped by police for a traffic violation with a vehicle that contained 72 guns.
