Troubling footage uploaded on Facebook portrays a man laughing hysterically while trying to ride an injured emu. On his failure, he starts to remove handfuls of feathers of the bird until it gets bald from the back.
On Monday morning, a 19-year-old recorded the video in Walgett in northern New South Wales.
The bird had been stuck in a wire fence. To save it, a group went and helped it get free. But once it was out, the misery began.
A man wearing a blue jumper can be clearly seen holding the emu’s neck ruthlessly in the video. The suffering bird failed every time it attempted to escape.
It is very disheartening to see how inhumane have humans become. Who could have thought of such cruelty! The man has put us to shame by doing such deeds.
In fact, a woman is said to be very sensitive at heart. They cannot even see a minor cut in the skin. However, this video contradicts this belief. A woman has been heard cackling while the man plays with the bird’s life. She claims that what the man was doing was going to be funny as f**k.
As the brutal man picks the bird up, hundreds of feathers fall down. On this, the woman says that the bird is unable to stand.
Another man shows up in the footage who gives a helping hand to the other one in dragging the bird by the neck and head. The emu then barely manages to leap to its feet.
The moment the bird makes an effort to fly away, the man rapidly jumps on its back.
On his lack of success, the man gets off its back and commences to remove handfuls of feathers from his back. He cheerfully dashes them into the air while his friends laugh hilariously.
By the time the man stops, the emu’s back is completely bald.
The man should be ashamed of his actions.
It is such a pity that people can go to such extents for earning fame through shooting such videos.
