The movies and TV shows based on Zombie apocalypse have wowed their own share of fans over the yesteryears.
While some entertainment offerings have made people laugh out loud, some have also made people cower behind hands.
According to what the latest report indicates, it seems that an all-new TV show is all set to get launched. Anticipations related to it indicate that the television show is all set to be something like ‘28 Days Later and World War Z’, making people cower behind the hands.
It is no secret that television shows require a lot of commitment from its own share of fans. Owing to the number of episodes in every season, watching a TV show is also a bit time-consuming.
However, when you have Netflix right on your smartphone, your TV show-watching experience doesn’t at all become dissatisfying.
And as far as the latest report is concerned, the anticipated Zombie Apocalypse Series is all set to see the lights of the day on Netflix.
It seems that the new series on Netflix, ‘Black Summer’, seems to give a run for money to the other zombie series. And the list particularly includes the ever-intriguing and fan-favorite ‘The Walking Dead’.
The traditional AMC series showed the entire world in the post-apocalyptic state where zombies walked around places. Contrarily, the new series will apparently show fans the antecedent of the outbreak.
This clearly means that the show will focus more on showing the early days of the outbreak. From panic to confusion; from limited information to military patrols; from family to separation; the show will show everything.
More precisely, the reports claim that ‘Black Summer’ will focus more on showing the aftermath of family separation. It’ll show a character of a mom who eventually gets separated from her daughter right upon taking hold of the zombie outbreaks.
The character of the mom will be played by Jamie King (known as Rose in the show). Later on, Rose will band together with a particular group of folks who aims at finding Rose’s daughter.
Talking about the trailer, the makers have implemented incredible elements to make it more interesting. There are jump scares which might be as scary as to send you over your couch.
Before working on this show, the makers already worked on another zombie series in the name of ‘Z Nation’, it was solely based on the genre of comedy.
Schaefer has stated that this particular show won’t be anything similar to the previous zombie series. And it will focus more on the old-school kind of zombie horror despite being a spinning-off path technically. It is set to launch in April on Netflix and the first season comprises eight episodes in total.
