What we do when we have people at homes that we do not want to stay over or worse, make our home their home.
We try each and everything to drive them out first with kindness and if that does not work, we use force because of the simple reason, it is not their home to live.
This is what the government of the United States is doing as their program makes arrangements to give a ride back home to all the migrants that have arrived in the United States from Central America with all the intentions to settle in the country.
Well, the program was launched about 10 months ago called “Assisted Voluntary Return” that has paid for 2,170’s migrants’ flights and train trips to reach home according to an official of a U.N. International Organization for Migration (IOM), Christopher Gascon.
The migrants involved in the program were mostly the ones who never entered the borders of the United States or were detained and were made to take shelter in the immigrant asylum of Mexico.
With the law, the advocates of immigration are worried that the program violates an international law of sending the immigrants back to the countries where they can face persecution.
While several migrants have already returned to their homes, the IOM says that only the migrants who are not willing to seek asylum and wanted to go back home are the ones participated in the program.
He states that this is an effort by the government to help those migrants who wish to go back home but cannot afford the right or humane ways to travel.
Central American migrants in Mexico are the first targets on the list to take part in the program on such a huge level. No such program has been carried out before for the welfare of the migrants.
