Tyson Fury Paid $217 For Two Lobsters At A Restaurant To Set Them Free

Fans have been calling Tyson Fury “The Lobster King” instead of The Gypsy King after they saw what he did on the second episode of his ITV documentary.

The most notable moments of the episode were when Tyson paid $217 for two lobsters in a Marbs restaurant, not to eat them. He purchased them just to let them go back to the sea where they belonged.

The video from the documentary shows a pair of lobsters, named for some weird reason Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, being offered to him, to which he says: “No chance, I don’t like seafood.”

Tyson can then be seen asking for the price of the lobsters.

He said: “Take the elastic bands off their flippers and I’m going to set them free in the sea. I’ll give you the €200.” He added: “It was alive and it was going to get burned alive and I didn’t want to burn them.

“I don’t like killing animals. It’s not often you can do something good in life and today, that was a good deed and it only cost me €200.”

If you are thinking Tyson has gone all vegan, stop right there as the heavyweight champion said right after the act of generosity: “I am going to have steak.”

Later in the show, Tyson’s wife Paris can be seen having a go on him for being late in picking her up from the airport. After that, the couple enjoys some leisure time before the match.

Tyson said: “I wonder if she’s excited to see me? I feel like a schoolboy again.”

However, the stops he makes to snap selfies with his fans end up making him late to arrive at the arrivals area to receive Paris.

Paris says: “Tyson tries to be nice to everyone but it’s got to the stage where he can’t because it just stops his life.

“When you hit fame and you end up in the media and you’re a public icon, your life is no longer your own and it’s a hard thing to deal with.

“I’ve loved this man since I was 16 years old, even in the bad times I think, ‘I really hate you but I love you,’ and I think that’s why we get through.”

Tyson won the big match against 27-year-old Wallin in Vegas. He had a bad start, got a cut on his eye in the beginning but made up for the points later in the match.
