Tucker Carlson called Piers Morgan an inspiration after the broadcaster stood up to Meghan Markle and accused her of lying in her interview.
After Meghan and Harry’s bombshell CBS interview with Oprah, Piers Morgan, a controversial British broadcaster who is known for speaking his mind without a filter, blasted the royal couple and accused them of lying and tarnishing the reputation of Palace.
Following the backlash and over 40,000 complaints, Morgan quit ITV’s Good Morning Britain before doubling down on his thoughts.
Praising the critic for refusing to bow to the ‘woke mob’, Carlson Tucker of FOX News branded him as an inspiration as he said Morgan was left unemployed for refusing to believe whom he referred to as a “whiny duchess.”
“He left his job on the British morning show after failing to be sufficiently impressed by that whiny duchess from LA complaining about how hard her life is,” the right-wing commentator said.
“Now Piers Morgan knew what the script was supposed to be – ‘oh, you poor oppressed duchess’ – but he refused to read it, so now he’s unemployed,” he raged on.
Carlson went on to show his support for the popular British TV personality by quoting the statement in which Morgan suggested he’s happy to go down fighting for the freedom of speech.
“On Monday I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle and her Oprah interview. I had time to reflect on this and I still don’t,” Morgan tweeted shortly walking off stage during a discussion and quitting his role at GMB.
“If you did, okay. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love and hate, I’m off to spend more time with my opinions.”
