President Donald Trump Promised To Cure Cancer And Eradicate AIDS During His 2020 Election Campaign

President Donald Trump promised to cure cancer and eradicate AIDS as he kicked off his 2020 election campaign in Orlando.

Trump said if he gets reelected, he would work to cure cancer and eradicate AIDS.

Mr. Trump said in his speech at Amway Center: “We will push onward with new medical frontiers. We will come up with the cures to many, many problems, too many, many diseases including cancer and others. And we’re getting closer all the time.”

The President also promised to eradicate AIDS by 2030 as he said at his Orlando rally: “We will eradicate AIDS in America once and for all — and we are really close.”

He also said that he would send astronauts to Mars. He said: “We will lay the foundation for landing American astronauts on the surface of Mars.”

Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden also made a similar promise at a recent campaign. Biden’s son Beau Biden died from brain cancer in 2015.

After this statement, Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted: “Wow, why the hell didn’t you do that over the last 50 years, Joe?”

Trump’s promised to cure cancer and eradicate AIDS after his son mocked Joe Biden for promising to cure cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society’s latest statistics, an estimated 1,735,350 were diagnosed with cancer in the United States and 609,640 people died from the disease in 2018.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, currently, more than 1.1 million people in the U.S. are living with HIV.
