Donald Trump And Barack Obama Share The First Place For The ‘Most Admired Man’ Of 2019 According To Gallup Poll


According to the results of a Gallup poll, the current POTUS Donald Trump and the former POTUS Barack Obama share the admiration of people whereas they were in for a tie for the first place of the ‘most admired man’ of 2019.

With political polarity appearing to be more evident than ever, Both Trump and Obama racked up 18 percent of the votes given by voters who were asked by Gallup annual survey who was the person they admired the most in 2019.

While other men such as Tesla CEO Elon Musk, former POTUS Jimmy Carter, and Senator Bernie Sanders also appeared on the list, none of them received more than 2 percent of the votes except for Barack and Donald.

Trump’s appearance at the top of the ladder of Gallup’s poll results follows after he had ranked second to Obama for two years in a row.

On the list of other top 10 most admired men were also Pope Francis, Bill Gates, Dalai Lama, Warren Buffett, and Adam Schiff.

While no other man besides Barack and Trump racked up more than two percent of the votes, plenty of women made it past this threshold.

Michelle Obama was named the most admired woman of 2019 for the second year in the row whereas she secured 10% of the votes.

Second to Michelle Obama was the current FLOTUS Melania Trump who racked up 5% of the votes.

Other influential figures who also appeared on the list of the top ten most admired women in 2019 were Hillary Clinton, Greta Thunberg, and Oprah Winfrey who all secured 3% of the votes.
