First Lady Melania Trump recently toured a school in Florida for her 14-year-old son Barron as she prepares for life after the White House.
According to Page Six, a source said that Mrs. Trump visited Pine Crest school in Fort Lauderdale, which is 40 minutes away from Mar-a-Lago.
According to reports, the family changed their address from New York City to Florida, where they will settle down once President-elect Joe Biden takes office in January.
Barron will not finish out the year at Maryland’s St. Andrew’s Episcopal School as he will be transferred to a school in Florida.
The tuition at Pine Crest school is $35,150 for grades 9 to 12.
Kelsey Grammer, Bethenny Frankel, and Ariana Grande are alumni of the private school.
A source recently told People magazine that the first lady has “looked all over Palm Beach County and neighboring Broward Country for just the right place” for her son.
“There are several options, and they will decide soon,” the source revealed.
Mrs. Trump is reportedly wrapping up her life in Washington DC as a source familiar with her state of mind said to told CNN: “She just wants to go home.”
The first lady appears focused on her final duties before Biden’s inauguration in January. Her chief of staff Stephanie Grisham told CNN: “Mrs. Trump is focused on her role as first lady.
“Monday she unveiled her most current effort in preserving the White House by announcing the completion of the tennis pavilion
“She also recently unveiled a new piece of art in the newly renovated Rose Garden. Her office just revealed this year’s Christmas décor. Her schedule remains full with her duties as a mother, wife and first lady of the United States.”
