President Trump just attacked the ‘Fake News’ media in the wake of the Robert Mueller report.
He said that it “lost tremendous credibility with its corrupt coverage.”
He took aim at MSNBC and CNN saying that they had both ‘tanked’ in the wake of the news. Trump also labeled himself everyone’s all-time favorite president.
“The Fake News Media has lost tremendous credibility with its corrupt coverage of the illegal Democrat Witch Hunt of your all time favorite duly elected President, me!” he wrote.
“T.V. ratings of CNN & MSNBC tanked last night after seeing the Mueller Report statement. @FoxNews up BIG!”
In other tweets, the President also shared quotes and clips from Fox News.
Journalists started to face a reckoning in the wake of a letter from Atty. General William Barr that confirmed Mueller didn’t find any evidence of any election-year conspiracy between Russia and the president’s campaign organization.
“The Mainstream Media is under fire and being scorned all over the World as being corrupt and FAKE,” Trump shared on Twitter. “For two years they pushed the Russian Collusion Delusion when they always knew there was No Collusion. They truly are the Enemy of the People and the Real Opposition Party!”
His campaign also challenged TV networks to stop interviewing his opponents who insisted that there was evidence of collusion between the president’s campaign and Russians.
Sean Hannity tweeted: “MSNBC CONSPIRACY NETWORK LIARS FAKE NEWS CNN LIARS NY TIMES WAPO LIARS.”
The host also added: “Starting Monday we will hold every deep state official who abused power accountable. We will hold every fake news media liar member accountable. We will hold every liar in Congress accountable.”
Kellyanne Conway replied to a Charlie Kirk tweet that claims 13 stories a day were being written about the investigation, writing: “Wasted ink. Imagine if a fraction of these stories were committed to providing Americans with “news they can use.””
Eric Trump also tweeted: “How about a simple apology from the #MSM for the hell everyone has been put through for the past two + years? @CNN @MSNBC @NBCNews @ABC @CBS @nytimes @washingtonpost.”
First Son Donald Trump Jr. also called out Buzzfeed, MSNBC, and CNN before saying: “Sadly, instead of apologizing for needlessly destabilizing the country in a transparent attempt to delegitimize the 2016 election, it’s clear that the Collusion Truthers in the media and the Democrat Party are only going to double down on their sick and twisted conspiracy theories moving forward.”
