President Donald Trump is planning to hold an event during Joe Biden’s inauguration, three sources told
According to the insiders close to the president, Trump is discussing ways to disrupt the president-elect’s era, and one of them is by holding a MAGA campaign event during his inauguration in January.
Two of the people familiar with the discussions said the president is planning to hold an event for his 2024 White House campaign during Biden’s inauguration week.
But the scheme to take the attention away would be a huge disregard for the peaceful transition of power from the president to the new president-elect.
This comes after Trump spent Thanksgiving weekend playing golf in Virginia. He sported a MAGA hat as he enjoyed the game at the Trump National Golf Club with his sons Eric and Don Jr.
The family celebrated Thanksgiving at Camp David, with Trump’s children photographed at the presidential retreat. It is unclear if First Lady Melania Trump and Barron joined them.
While the president continues to refuse to concede the 2020 election to his rival, he already showed some signs of caving recently when he said that he would leave the White House once the Electoral College confirms Biden’s win.
“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was a massive fraud,” he told reporters.
When asked if he will leave on Inauguration Day, he replied: “Certainly I will. And you know that.”
He also may be coming to terms with the 2020 election defeat as sources said to The Daily Beast that the president is planning to run in the 2024 election.
