According to the publication, the president vowed to “do something” while enjoying a dining experience in the Grill Room at his Trump International Golf Club.

“We’ll do something, but not just yet,” Trump told the Washington Examiner in his first public comment since his departure from the White House.

Following the former president’s interaction with the journalist, an aide quickly intervened to cut the conversation short.

Trump’s brief comment comes as the former POTUS is facing an impeachment trial that could see him banned from running for president for life. The trial is set to kick off on February 9 after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell asked for a delay to give Trump’s defense team additional time to prepare. Meanwhile, the delay also suits the Democrats because pushing through with it now would result in the stalling of the confirmation of Biden’s Cabinet.

While the political events in Washington, DC are in a full run, Trump appears to be chilling at his West Palm Beach golf course in Florida.

The former POTUS was recently spotted and photographed by a CNN cameraman who took photos of Trump while the latter was driving around the course in a golf cart while wearing a red MAGA hat.

Just one day later, workers were spotted planting big trees along the edge of the course – possibly to obstruct the view and prevent people from taking photos of Trump from the outside.
