The giant blimp that represents snarling Donald Trump has landed in London and made its way in its forever home – a museum.

The massive inflatable originally took to the skies back in the summer of 2018 when it was flown across Parliament Square in London amid protests over the former president’s visit to the country.

Following a series of international tours, the 20-foot-tall blimp has finally returned to London and is ready to settle down after being acquired by Sadiq Khan’s Museum of London.

According to REUTERS, the blimp was acquired through donation, whereas the angry-looking inflatable now joins the museum’s protest collection.

“By collecting the baby blimp, we can mark the wave of feeling that washed over the city that day and capture a particular moment of resistance,” Museum of London director Sharon Ament said of the new addition.

“From the Suffragettes of the early 20th century to the anti-austerity marches, free speech and Black Lives Matter most recently – the capital has always been the place to have your say.”

Despite looking forward to getting their hands on the baby blimp ever since the anti-Trump protests in 2018, Ament insists that “the museum is not political and does not have any view about the state of politics in the States.”

“We use humor a lot. And we poke fun at politicians. This is a big – literally – example of that. To some it’s a joyous object, it makes you smile, it makes you laugh because it’s satirical,” she added.

Meanwhile, the creators of the popular blimp expressed their happiness not only with Baby Trump’s retirement but also with the real Trump getting removed from the White House.

“While we’re pleased that the Trump Baby can now be consigned to history along with the man himself, we’re under no illusions that this is the end of the story,” they said in a statement.

“We hope the baby’s place in the museum will stand as a reminder of when London stood against Trump – but will prompt those who see it to examine how they can continue the fight.”
