President Donald Trump visited a newly-completed section of the border wall and claimed that the 25th amendment will not be used to remove him.

“Free speech is under assault like never before. The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me, but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden Administration. As the expression goes, be careful what you wish for,” he said.

Trump then signed a plaque at the section in Texas in a bid to highlight the legacy of his time in the White House.

“We can’t let the next administration even think of taking it down,” he expressed.

Trump briefly addressed the chaotic scenes on the US Capitol last week and said respect for law enforcement is “the foundation of MAGA agenda.”

In his 20 minute speech, Trump said: “Now is the time for our nation to heal. And it’s time for peace and for calm, respect for law enforcement and the great people within law enforcement is the foundation of the MAGA agenda. We’re a nation of law and a nation of order.”

According to US News, the event in Alamo, Texas was the President’s first public appearance since Wednesday, when he delivered a speech to MAGA supporters who invaded the US Capitol in a riot that left five people dead.

The protesters were trying to stop the Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s victory after Trump insisted that his victory was taken away from him.

“Millions of our citizens watched Wednesday as a mob stormed the Capitol and trashed the halls of government,” Trump said.

“As I have consistently said throughout my administration, we believe in respecting America’s history and traditions, not tearing them down. We believe in the rule of law not in violence or rioting.”

He continued: “This has been a difficult year and a very difficult election. The pandemic has made it a very, very difficult year for our country and virtually every country all over the world.
