A source told US Weekly that after the breakup Travis Scott “still very much loves” his ex Kylie.
The insider explained: “[He] feels that their relationship was too fast too soon,”
“He loves her, but he wanted to be able to live his life and travel and be with other people and not have to worry about always going back to his family.”
The ex-couple had been together for more than two years and they parted their ways in October 2019. They share a daughter together who is now 21 months old.
The news of their split came a few months after Kylie denied the rumors that Travis had cheated. When people started speculating that Travis has cheated Kylie, the rapper took to Instagram to clear the air.
He posted an Instagram story writing, “It’a [sic] really affecting when you see false things said about u. Once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true. Focusing on life, music, and family at this moment is what’s real.”
Kylie also took to social media to inform everyone that she and Travis are on good terms even after the split.
She tweeted: “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi !!” she wrote at the time. “Our friendship and our daughter is a priority.”
According to PEOPLE magazine, Travis and Kylie’s priorities were the reason for their breakup. A source explained, “There were several issues that made them decide to take a break, Kylie is all about family life and really wants a second baby.” Scott, meanwhile, is focused on his music career.
After their split, the rumors of Kylie and Drake being together started circulating and a source told US Weekly, “Drake has always had a thing for Kylie and it’s mutual. They hang out here and there and have been more recently than in the past because Kylie is technically single right now and the two of them live so close to each other.”
“Drake and Kylie don’t want to jeopardize their friendship by crossing any major boundaries,” the source continues. “Drake doesn’t have any intention of taking on a fatherly role with Stormi and he wants to have fun with Kylie with no strings attached and continue to have a friendship and be supportive of one another.”
