Tramadol, in particular, has emerged as one of the deadliest addictions one can have. Professor Jack Crane of Northern Ireland State says that the Tramadol painkillers have killed more people, compared to those who die of heroin overdose.

The addiction is growing rapidly and those who have been taking Tramadols only to kill pain might find it disturbing. The doctors prescribe Tramadol as a pain reliever and they are often consumed to get relief from chronic pain. Like most of the painkillers, Tramadol attacks the central nervous system which makes the brain to forget about the pain.

Tramadol is not prescribed for those who suffer from the blockage in stomach or intestines, breathing problems, or those who consume alcohol regularly. It is very harmful to take Tramadol for someone who is going through the conditions that are mentioned above. It may negatively affect your breathing system and lead to serious suffocation.

Loss of memory, increased heart rate, fainting, difficulty in urinating, stomach pain, increased blood pressure, chills, blood in urine, bloating and nausea are some of the less common symptoms one can experience after consuming Tramadol painkillers.

Common symptoms include irregular heartbeat, unusual tiredness, change in consciousness, difficulty in breathing, reduced muscle tone, shortness of breath and severe fatigue. The mentioned symptoms can prove to be life-threatening and cause serious health issues.

Pregnant women are not prescribed to take Tramadol because it can pose a threat to the baby. The doctors prescribe the patients take Tramadol orally. However, people don’t like to swallow it; they either crush it and inhale or dilute them in a beverage or inject it. These types of pill consuming procedures can result in overdose and may kill the recipient as well.

When your doctor prescribes you Tramadol, then it is necessary to tell the doctor about every medication that you are currently taking. Normally, the doctor himself will ask for it. It can cause several negative health implications like seizures, and other serious condition like Serotonin Syndrome. It can lead to high blood pressure, rapid heart rate and high fever.
