Warner Bros Are Thinking About A Training Day Prequel


The crime thriller that came out in 2001 became a massive hit and it still sits deep in our minds somewhere.

Yes, we are talking about Training Day, one of the best crime thriller movies to ever come out.

The movie was a masterpiece and it could become this good because of the actors as well. In fact, Denzel Washington, the star of the movie gave out a phenomenal performance and was recognized for the same as he won an Oscar for Best Actor for the movie.

The story of the thriller runs around two cops for 12 hours who are in the narcotics department as they run around a neighborhood filled with gangs in South Central Los Angeles.

The film entirely works on the life of a gang that no matter what is determined to sell the drugs while the officers put everything in their power to stop the drugs.

But the Warner Bros. says the story is not over yet and there is more to it.

The prequel is set in the year 1992, just two before the verdict of Rodney King came out.

The verdict was the reason they a riot in LA broke out with hundreds of people coming down to the streets as the four officers that had forced and beaten King walked out free as they were accused of using more force than it was required.

The news of the prequel is not confirmed yet as Warner Bros has not made any official announcement as of now.

It came out of the studio that they are excited about the plan but it will not be a good idea to get your hopes too high as off now, but in the times of sequels, reboots, and prequels, we can at least hope there can be one.
