A few days ago, the celebrity couple, Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks revealed they have tested positive with coronavirus.
The couple who is 63 years old announced their sickness on Instagram saying how important it is to take care right now.
Tom Hanks and his wife were in Australia to shoot for his new Baz Luhrmann-directed Elvis Presley movie that does not have a name to be revealed yet. The film is produced by Warner Bros.
Hanks said that he and his wife both had body ache, common cold symptoms, and chills. This is why they decided to get tested and the result was positive.
Before they had been diagnosed, the couple had gone around and visited some of the most crowded places like the Sydney Opera House and Bondi Beach.
As the couple attended a concert on Saturday night at the Sydney Opera House, the team of the opera house is now looking for all the 207 people who came in contact with the couple at the show. It is believed that they could be suffering from the virus too.
Premier of Queensland said, “All the people that had come in contact with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson on Saturday night are needed to isolate themselves.”
The celebrity couple is now kept in isolation at the Gold Coast University Hospital. The health officials have said they are is a stable condition.
Hanks revealed his and Rita’s condition in an Instagram post. Then he wrote that now that they have the infection they are following the protocol fixed by the health department. He has asked people to be extra careful and keep precautions.
Hanks is the only major celebrity who has revealed his contact with the virus.
He and his wife were both tested positive on the 12th of March in the morning after taking a trip to the hospital amid their body ache and cold.
