4 million dollars’ worth of set for the franchise is expected to not function properly. The said damage has been caused by a motorbike stunt gone wrong on Tuesday. Allegedly, the bike in question fell on pillows with cardboard, which then was set off with fire after the stuntman got out of harm’s way. At the same time, Tom Cruise was doing a stunt scene in which involved a ‘snow scene’ and a parachute. The set was being supervised by the Oxfordshire Fire Service.

According to the relevant personnel affiliated with the movie set, the pillows were devised through six weeks of careful planning, unfortunately not working in the final real tryout shooting.

The seventh film in the almost legendary adventure movie series franchise has stared filming last month after months-long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tom Cruise,by good fortune, was lucky not to be included in the said scene, despite being notoriously famous for filming almost all the dangerous scenes involved in the movie franchise, most notably climbing the world’s tallest skyscrapers or falling straight down from the sky with a parachute.

‘I knew instantly my ankle was broken,’ he said. ‘But I really didn’t want to do it again so just got up and carried on with the take. [After the shot] I said “It’s broken, that’s a wrap, take me to hospital”, and everyone got on the phone and made their vacation arrangement.’

However, the novel set that may involve future installments may not be limited to the laws of physics – literally, as Cruise has been aspiring to film his future movie at the International Space Station. He is taking so much faith in the project. Also for this installment, he has personally reached out to UK’s Culture Secretary for a permission and the influence to recommence the filming despite the lockdown measures involved in the set.
